The Agora cultural center in the buildings of the former Ickern I / II mine was founded in 1982 as the center of the Greek community of Castrop-Rauxel e.V. On the site of the former Ickern I / II colliery, the Greek municipality of Castrop-Rauxel has created the Agora cultural center and an entire amphitheater. And thus a unique place for cultural encounters and exchanges.
