On the northern edge of the mountain town, not far from the Eibenstock bathing gardens, there is the Eibenstock mining and soap educational trail. Numerous display boards along the narrow path point to the significant mining history of the former "Electoral Free Mining City Eibenstock". You can discover small reconstructed facilities of mining activity and even relics of centuries-old mining, such as tunnel mouth holes, light holes, punch bowls and greaves. The path is currently under construction and is closed to visitors. The reopening of the first sections is planned for late summer 2020.
