Süd-West-Ufer Altmühlsee

The well-developed bike path leads you on smooth asphalt from Gunzenhausen to the north-western tip of the approximately four-kilometer reservoir.

For the most part, the cycle and footpaths are separate, so the section becomes the race track with a view of the lake. Careful, in the end a road crosses the bike path!

You can also drive on the north-west side of the lake on both sides of Altmühlzuleiter to Ornbau and back.

Passes directly at the lake center forest. Worth seeing is the sailing boat harbor with 96 water and 120 land berths.
