Rather a lowlight of the route... the climb is busy and only has a bike path for the first quarter. After that, the bike path becomes a small gravel path that ends at a locked gate after a few hundred meters. At least half of the route then runs along the busy road. Just under a kilometer before the end of the climb, at the switchback, it gets really steep again.

The descent to Missen, however, leads back along a very good, wide bike path.
