The Leemkule or Leemcule is a huge pit that was created by the excavation of clay layers to bake bricks for housing construction. It is not exactly known when the excavation started. Before that, houses were still built with boulders. There is always a pool of water in the hole, depending on how much it has rained recently. The water remains because of the clay soil, which allows almost no water to pass through.
