At the confluence of the Beurzerbeek and the Groenlose Slinge is the watchtower, also known as "at the double weir". This location was chosen because of the presence of weirs in both streams. From the tower you also have a view of a third watercourse, namely the old meandering course of the Groenlose Slinge, which was restored more than 20 years ago. Both the main course of the Groenlose Slinge and the Beurzerbeek have been straightened, which is known as normalization.
The watchtower provides an excellent place to observe waterfowl. You can reach the tower via the Garversbultenpad, a cycling and walking path that runs from Morskersdriehuisweg to Goorweg in Meddo.
