This is pure alpine idyll. Nestled between low mountains and surrounded by the lushest meadows imaginable, this lake is perfect for a swim in the summer. The small town of Lunz is located on the shore, but you hardly notice anything about it at the lake.

Great food in the castle tavern. Rooms in Lunz are scarce, you should book in advance!
