Tips
The port of Laboe is very nice for a break. The course has been redesigned and has plenty of seating. All around are restaurants and takeaways, so there is something for every taste and budget.

Laboe was founded between 1226 and its first written mention in 1240 as a German village, but probably already existed before a Slavic fishing village called "Lubodne", in German "Schwanenort"; the coat of arms Laboes, the swan, can therefore be traced back to the old Slavic name.
