The first documented place name form dated from 1251 as a charter in a document on the occasion of a tax to the nuns of the monastery Nimbschen. 1429/30 suffered the place under the invasion of the Hussites. 1445/47 existed already a knight seat, which was raised in 1551 to the manor.
