The Jägersburg is a former hunting lodge of the Bamberg prince-bishops, which Lothar Franz von Schönborn had built at the beginning of the 18th century. In some rooms, for example in the dining room, the baroque vault has been preserved. In the baroque staircase, which was used for representation by the prince-bishops, you can see stucco ornaments that Johann Jakob Vogel created in 1722.

Jägersburg Castle is the location for events and weddings in Franconia. All salons offer a wonderful view of the expansive park with a view of Bamberg as well as Forchheim and Erlangen.
