Kunst-am-Kanal Sculpture Trail

At the beginning of the 2000s, a sculpture trail with works by regionally and internationally known artists was built on the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal in the section near Berg <ludwig-donau-main-kanal.de/kunst-am-kanal />.

scenic very beautiful route along the old King Ludwig Canal, low difficulty to Neumarkt. From Neumarkt to the castle ruin Wolfstein partly difficult (with a 500 m long section gravel and slope to 25%). Up in Höhenberg arrived wonderful view of Neumarkt, and surroundings. To the castle ruin Wolfstein it is from the village Höhenberg then only 2 km. The castle ruins can be visited (very rewarding!). Return to Neumarkt easily on paved roads. At the end of the route refreshments in a cozy garden restaurant on the northern edge of Neumarkt.

The sculptures on the section provide variety during the bike tour.
