The allotment garden complex Römerhügel in Ludwigsburg is a new garden that was created to relocate the 70-year-old allotment garden complex Frommannkaserne from the area of Weststadt in order to expand an existing industrial area.

This new facility is also located in the Weststadt on the Roman hill next to the water tower.

The name Roman hill goes back to the assumption that it was originally a Roman guard hill. In 1877 a Celtic princely grave was discovered and it was recognized that the hill had already been artificially raised by the Celts.

The allotment garden is one of 7 plants from Gartenfreunde Ludwigsburg e.V.
