Mirna is the longest river in Istria with a length of more than 50 km. The importance of the river for this region is undisputed: from mills to transport, from sales to sports activities. Today the Mirna River flows through an artificially created river bed while being surrounded by a beautiful setting of forests, hills and towns. The source of the river is in a small village called Kotli.
