Svyatoshinsky ponds are located on the Nivka River, a section of which flows through the Svyatoshinsky District. There are eight ponds in total (significant in area).
Waterfowl can be found here. The ponds are the nesting and wintering grounds for birds. It is home to 33 species of birds (wetland type of habitat), two of which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (black kite and white-tailed eagle).
