The village Obertilliach is a feast for the eyes. Many painters and photographers have already drawn the narrow village alleys in the listed town center with its partly over 300 years old farmhouses in its spell. Incidentally, Austria's only night watchman, Helmut Egartner, also makes his rounds in Obertilliach twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) at night, paying close attention to "Foir and Liacht"!

Obertilliach is a beautiful town in the district of Lienz, located in the area of Tyrol, Austria. It is located in the southeast of the state, in the East Tyrol region, southeast of the city of Innsbruck —the state capital— and near the border with Italy. Many mtb routes leave from here.
