The Auerhahnplatz is an important crossroads on the northwest slope of the ridge "Auf dem Acker". During your "Acker" hike you pass this place. From Auerhahnplatz u.a. a way down to Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken in the Sösetal and further along the slope of the field along. However, depending on the direction you are going uphill to the ridge towards the south to the Hanskühnenburg-Baude or to the northeast to the parking lot at the Stieglitzecke. The Auerhahnplatz is not an ideal resting place, but there is also the possibility for a short break here.
