Pictures 3 and 4 are the remains of the Spitzkegelhade from picture 5. The MZ factory riders regularly trained on this spoil heap during the GDR era, just as the Himmelreich area was part of the route around Zschopau. In picture 7, the spoil heap that was pointed into a sign no longer exists; it was removed and the material used to build roads. The area is overgrown with forest (picture 8). It's hard to imagine its enormous dimensions today.
