The Ederklippen are an impressive rock formation on the east bank of the Eder between Battenberg and Frankenberg. The cliffs are made of red Zechstein and rise directly from the green meadows of the Eder. It is definitely worth making a short detour to the shore so you can admire the rocks in all their glory.

The Ederklippen are a real highlight on the Eder and the detour from the Ederhöhenweg is definitely worth it!
