DDR Typical self-development status built around 1960 to the mid-60s, mainly in new housing areas.
The buildings were designed as splinter protection structures. Hermetization was not possible.
Occupancy about 300 and 600 people (SBW 600). Most of Leipzig's buildings have since been disposed of, in the Siemensstraße / Zschochersche Straße is still a preserved protective structure, which is used as this now as a garage or warehouse.
