Towards the end of the 15th century the church was rebuilt, the lower part of the tower still comes from a previous building, a Romanesque church. The parish church of Waldhof still appears today as a late Gothic single-nave church, which was later extended several times.

Equipment: A life-size radiant Madonna adorns the room above the modern main altar. The entrance door at the south portal is noteworthy, the wrought-iron fittings date from the Gothic period and are among the most valuable and beautiful in the area.
