Tips
The (restored) ossuary in the St. Michael cemetery, right next to the church, is well worth seeing. A small window gives a good view of the interior with the incredible skull pieta and the polychrome vaulted ribs. The medieval Mount of Olives relief on the southern nave facade was also restored and now, after being uncovered, shows the preserved colored differentiation of the scenes. Ms. Huber, lives on the outskirts of Spitz, is happy to provide information and give guided tours.
