Sulden (Italian: Solda) is a mountain village with about 400 inhabitants in the Suldental in the western part of South Tyrol (Italy). It belongs to the municipality of Stilfs, located at 1900 m altitude and is dominated by mountains of the Ortler Alps; these include the Ortler, the Königspitze and the Zebrù. Through the town flows the Suldenbach.
Tourism is Sulden's main commercial activity in both summer and winter. The place has more than 2000 guest beds.
Mountaineer Reinhold Messner maintains a herd of yaks on the pastures of Solda. He has a tavern in a restored mountain farm in the village.
