Sulden (Italian: Solda) is a mountain village with about 400 inhabitants in the Suldental in the western part of South Tyrol (Italy). It belongs to the municipality of Stelvio, lies at 1900 m altitude and is overlooked by the mountains of the Ortler Alps; these include the Ortler, the Königspitze and the Zebrù. The Suldenbach flows through the village.
Tourism is Sulden's main source of income in both summer and winter. The place has more than 2000 guest beds.
The mountaineer Reinhold Messner keeps a herd of yaks on the mountain pastures of Sulden. He has a wine tavern in a restored mountain farm in the village.
