There are currently many flamingos and wild birds to be seen. The water is very well filled.

Great natural area with countless waterfowl, which can be well observed by several pulpits. The circular route is about 5 km.

In 2019 there were again some flamingo pairs to watch - it is worth the various viewpoints "try it out".

de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zwillbrocker_VennNice circular route around the NSG .. Also nice to run with dogs during the week 🤗 The viewpoints offer a great opportunity to watch the flamingos and many other water birds 👍

Great area, especially at the large observation pulpit, you can hear real life from the flamingos .. really great ... I can only recommend it to everyone. Thanks to Corona, the observation pulpits are partially tight, it says that everyone should be tight .. that's not true, we only saw 1 closed .. here, too, only 2 people are allowed to enter.

The Zwillbrocker Venn is the most northerly, natural breast place for flamingos worldwide. To observe the flamingos, binoculars must be brought with you, as they nest and stay in some distance. Photos of the animals can only be taken with a good telephoto object, which unfortunately means that the best places in the coach house are often blocked by amateur photographers.

Unfortunately dry and without flamingos since this year no offspring. Flamingos usually from late April to early June

In addition to the great views, there is also a lot of information about the inhabitants of the Venn.

Very nice hike but a bit crowded even during the week. I wouldn't go on the weekend.
