The most beautiful part of the hike for me is the valley of the Altburger Bach. On both sides of the valley are impressive rock formations. Unfortunately, the creek bed was dried up, probably because of the drought of the last two years. The moss-covered rocks at the bottom of the creek bed give the hiker a glimpse of the beautiful rapids that can be admired here after a rainy and snowy winter at the time of the snowmelt.
