Beautiful view over the surrounding heathland. During the week it is wonderfully quiet here. If you go for a walk here at the end of the summer (from about mid-August to the beginning of September) you will be treated to a purple explosion of color.

Those looking for something a little quieter can head to one of the many other hiking parking lots in the area.Update: Due to overcrowding, especially on weekends, most of the parking lots along the road have been closed.
