The gastronomy of the HochwaldAlm Wadrill is currently (6/2019) not leased.

The power supply at the HochwaldAlm is currently being upgraded, which is why the gastronomy is not being leased for the time being.

For hikers there is still a possibility to stop very close by. The Harteichhütte is open on Sundays and public holidays.

The Hochwald-Jungvieh Alm, the only real Alm of its kind in Saarland, will be open again this Saturday. The Hochwald-Jungvieh alm, the only true alpine pasture of its kind in the Saarland. Located in the forest on the road between Wadrill and Kell in Rhineland Palatinate about 565 meters high, the alpine hut served since 1955 to the end of the last century in the summer months mainly as pastureland for better rearing of cattle.
