Best Mountain Bike Rides to Bunkertrail
Tips
  • The bunker trail goes right down after the anti-tank barrier.
The trail requires a certain driving technique and if it is wet and raining you should be careful!
But try it out, the trail is really fun ;-)
However, after the barrier, you can first drive left over the hill, then you come to the famous lookout rock (really a beautiful panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding area).

  • The bunker trail is probably one of the most famous trails above Nauders. The wonderful view and the historical and omnipresent bunker system do their part. The trail is quite steep. Lots of roots and blocked stones give the trail its difficulty. If it is also damp, more is asked of you. Beginners will quickly reach their limits here. Experienced bikers get their money's worth here.

  • A little full grown compared to last year but still good to drive.

  • The starting point for this partly newly created S2 Trail is the historic bunker high above Lake Reschen. If you have the time, you should definitely take a photo with Lake Reschen in the background. The bunker trail is the main connection to the south and takes bikers almost two kilometers to the start of the Etsch trail, which continues to Reschen. Access is from the mountain station of the Bergkastel cable car via the Almtrail and the Plamorttrail.

  • This trail has it all. So I would classify it more as dark red. So S2-S3 with two S3 key points. But this is subjective.
In any case, it's a lot of fun if you like it rough.

  • In my opinion one of the best trails in Nauders.

  • Stieralm to Plamort is one of my favorite routes! The climb is indeed something in the legs ...

  • Dark red trail, whoever drives the bunker trail for the first time should really watch out and be careful.

  • The trail simply belongs to the 3 country enduro area. It connects everything you want. An area steeped in history. An impressive nature. And a trail that is demanding. It's endless fun. The entry is still quite easy to drive. But after the lookout rock it becomes blocked and steeper.

  • Neat scrubbing! Really demanding trail. A few stone fields, between them a bit flowy, is a lot of fun.

  • Black black black trail! Very technical, steep, interlocked, demanding! Sometimes you have to put together a bit of courage to overcome one or two steep rocky pieces!

  • Partly challenging trail, there are a few key points you should drive in the wet / rain with care but otherwise makes the trail right mood ;-)

  • S3 fits, the partially blocked passages are not more difficult, with a little technique it's fun. But you should be careful, the professionals all shot past me. I rode an eMTB for the first time. Uphill in eco mode already exhausting and downhill simply outstanding, as long as the trail is not more difficult than S3. It was definitely in the mood and I saved the lift costs: D
