The monument by Mieczysław Welter commemorates the soldiers who died in the fight for the independence of the Łobez Land. It comes from 1968. The inscription on the plaque reads: "To the Polish and Soviet soldiers who died in the fight for the liberation and restoration of the Łobez Land to the Motherland" - "We were, We will be".
