The road soon becomes a dirt road, which you follow straight ahead. From here you have a beautiful view over the "valley" of the Serein and the village of Poilly-sur-Serein with its impressive church.
800 meters later you can turn left onto a wide, 20 meter long path and now go back along the Serein (see photo). You then come back onto the road, where it turns right over the bridge to the mill.
