Presumably, as in the other places in the Uckermark, Stützkow was settled and a church was built in the 13th century. During the Thirty Years' War (1618 - 1648), Stützkow was also severely devastated and the church was destroyed. In 1748 a half-timbered church with an eastern roof tower was built. This suffered severe damage during the Second World War and was demolished in 1986 after increasing structural damage.
In 2000, a support association was founded and construction began on the new "Haus am Strom", which is reminiscent of the old half-timbered church in appearance. The "Haus am Strom", completed in 2001, is used as a community center and a church. The entrance door comes from the old half-timbered church. The chandelier in the hall and the glass door from the anteroom into the hall were once at home in the Palace of the Republic in Berlin.
