this was not the most exciting temple I've been to, but it was interesting to see a few of the ruins and it was a peaceful spot.The garden is apparently a cultural property, but the style of the garden is very simple and natural and mimicking larger landforms so it doesn't have the intricacies You might be expecting at a Japanese style garden. I think the potential for this garden is probably during momiji, as there were many Japanese maples scattered around the grounds and I'm sure it's gorgeous in the fall.
