Beautiful excursion destination in the Tennenloher Forest at the gates of Tennenlohe and Erlangen. The area around the horse enclosure can be explored by bike or on foot. The enclosure is very spacious and you need a bit of luck to see the wild horses, the goats are easier to find, binoculars can't hurt. In the middle is the bullet trap with its vantage point, here you have a very good view. The ascent is worthwhile and as written, take binoculars with you.

Super nice route along the wild horse enclosure. Lots of people walk by here, especially on nice days. There are no cycling signs that you can only see when driving from north to south. They are not in the other direction.
The ground is versatile: sand, sandstone, roots, muddy forest floor, etc.
It's best to get off the spider. Then you come to the path and then drive north to the Heuweg.
