This is a gravel track or green lane between Ellerton and East Cottingwith. In dry summer weather there are sandy sections on the exit from Ellerton (a bit sketchy on road tyres). Mostly, the surface is gravel and there is a grassy track in the middle section. I found it fully ridable on a road bike with 26mm tyres but wanted something fatter!

Suitable on a gravel bike. Small section in the middle was a little muddy. Overall a nice and quiet segment to avoid the roads.
