This church is over 500 years old. For a long time it was not so sure that it would happen. In 1806, even the demolition of the church was demanded, which was only prevented because the community Hofkirchen promised to pay for the costs of conservation. In any case, it has since been maintained and constantly renovated - most recently in 2002. Essentially, however, the Gothic style has been preserved unchanged, which is why this church in eastern Styria is well worth seeing.

Hiking

The Gothic church of St. Stephen was built in the 15th century and has been expanded again and again. The Gothic style was retained. The old scaffolding holes can still be seen in the outer walls.
