The watermill includes two buildings: on the one hand the original watermill, which was built in 1693 as a half-timbered house, and on the other a later built large brick building on the other side of the Rotbach. This house was used as the main building for the mill and as a home for the miller.
Between the two buildings, in the middle of the Rotbach, there is a mighty medium-sized water wheel, which rises in height to the half-timbered house.
