Very nice descent to Saint-Pierre de Chartreuse. Allows you to consider the Col du Cucheron, the Col du Coq, or the Col de la Placette. Do not forget to push to the Auberge du Charmant Som to round off the difference in height ;-)

The Col de Porte (1326m) is the main connection from the interior of the Chartreuse to Grenoble. There are three good paths up, which are also used in long tours: from the north from St. Laurent du Pont via St. Pierre de Chartreuse (Tour de France 2020, 18km, about 900 meters with a moderate gradient); from the south directly from Grenoble (over 1000hm; from the southwest from St. Égrève (Criterium du Dauphiné 2020, h.c.).
