The hamlet looks like it came straight out of a picture book. There are only about 10 houses, but they are really great to look at. A short detour is worthwhile here. Unfortunately, I didn't think about taking pictures.

Hiking

Coming by bus from Kellenhusen Start at the Rosenhof bus stop to Siggeneben. From there on partly unpaved, sandy dirt roads Rtg. Baltic Sea, past large campsites to the south along the dike to Dahme, Strandhotel bus stop. Take the 550 bus back to Kellenhusen. Total hiking distance about 15 km. Siggeneben with its renovated, old, thatched houses is very special. I couldn't find any refreshments, all private property. There is also a smaller circular hike from (Gut) Rosenhof, which is indicated on komoot. In this area the landscape is lovely and varied, simply beautiful.
