The mill was built in 1751 as a post windmill, and rebuilt in 1938 as Paltrock windmill. The mill was reconstructed in 1991-1993 and is fully functional.

Met the miller by accident. He showed and explained everything to me. One can only wish for such an individual tour. Highly interesting. There was a lot to tell about the history of the mill and the family.

Paltrock Mill Ebbecke
The only working and windable mill type in the Torgau region.First mentioned in 1751 as a post windmill, the mill was rebuilt in 1938 as a Paltrock wind mill. 1991/1993, the mill was reconstructed and operated until 1996 in wage and commercial Müllerei. It is wind-resistant again since the reconstruction, the complete grinding and scraping technology is in very good condition. In 2015, the wings were severely damaged in a storm and had to be dismantled. The company Mühlenbau de Jongh from the Netherlands built new wings and assembled them on 23.09.2015. In the mill parlor there are changing exhibitions, a gastronomic supply is possible by appointment. The mill is already in the fifth generation in family ownership.
