From this point you have an overview of Castagnoli, a small medieval village in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, surrounded by woods, olive trees and rows of cypresses. In the village there is a historic residence, a wine shop and Tuscan restaurants. In Castagnoli the homonymous wine is produced on approximately 850 hectares, mainly Sangiovese, the base grape of the highly prized Tuscan wines produced. Not only wine but also oil, for 15 hectares.
