The Skiclub il primo association was founded on November 24, 1964 by enthusiastic skiers who saw opportunities to practice their sport in the Netherlands. After the start on the TEBA plastic ski track in Heerhugowaard, a private track in the dunes was opened in the former open-air theater of Bergen in 1969. With a length of 71 meters and a width of 12 meters, it was the largest track in Western Europe at the time. A year later, another small practice track was built. The 'valley station' was built where the artists used to perform.
