One of the most scenic MTB rides in the Bay Area around the highest Marin peak, with easy climbing on an old rail bed with a gradual 6% incline, panoramic views of the peninsula, the Bay, and the Pacific Ocean around all sides of the mountain and from the summit, and exhilarating descent on sweet twisting trails. This ride starts mid-mountain. To begin from the very bottom start at the Old Railroad Grade trailhead in Mill Valley. Starting from Mountain Home parking at Panoramic Highway, of at the Gravity Car Trailhead a few yards further just below the Fire Station, this loop includes the following trail segments:
