Upstream and downstream you have a wonderful view of the Aare.
The covered wooden construction is impressive.The "Auguetbrücke" was actually the "Hunzigenbrücke" (built in 1836) between Konolfingen and Seftigen. It was moved to August (after a concrete bridge was built) and opened to pedestrian traffic in 1974.translated by
