Formed in 1771 due to a landslide that blocked the Cordevole stream, Lake Alleghe has a maximum depth of 55 meters and its waters serve a hydroelectric power plant. Walking on the banks of the lake has for years been one of the favorite pastimes of those who come to visit Alleghe and the slopes of Mount Civetta are reflected in its waters.

The picturesque mountain lake is located south of the Marmolada. The lake was created in the 18th century by a landslide. On the shore lies the small mountain village Alleghe. The place is very popular with tourists and accordingly you will find there the usual infrastructure of cafes, hotels and restaurants. And let's be honest: Against such a backdrop on the shores of a lake tastes a cappuccino but best.
