Tips
It is the largest lake in the Ahrntal with an area of almost 5 hectares. The Sauwipfel (2643 m) and the Rauhkofel (3251 m) tower above the pristine mountain lake and invite in good weather for a long break. The weather can also be surprisingly different, as the third and fourth picture from mid-September shows. Then it's better to go down quickly again.
