the tour can only be managed by well-trained joggers without stopping, there and back.
You must start in Sahlenburg at least 2 to 2.5 hours before low tide. At a normal walking speed of 5 to 5.5 km/h, it is life-threatening to walk back in the same tide.
There are deaths almost every year or careless people are rescued by the DLRG.
Posting the tour as a round trip is gross nonsense and borders on negligent homicide if naive hikers follow the tour.
Better to return by ship, or stay overnight on the island.
