The port of emergency Darßer Ort is a port on the southwestern Baltic Sea at Darßer Ort in the north of the Darß peninsula in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
It was built in 1962 (soon after the Wall was built) by the National People's Army for the People's Navy of the GDR as a maneuvering port. The 6th technical observation company of the 6th Coastal Border Brigade was also stationed here. The entire Darßer Ort was declared a restricted area and was not allowed to be entered. The port established at that time is located within the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park, which was founded in 1990, after which its use was only permitted as an emergency port.
