The trail has recently been cleaned up and modified with the addition of new very fun jumps (which however can be easily avoided). Perhaps it is the path of the Pisan Mountains more suitable for those who want to learn.

  • Beautiful stretch but only for experts: full suspension MTB, protections, etc. to be avoided if not fully aware of the difficulty of the stretch

  • fun and challenging path for beginners, but cmq also feasible with MTB front, absolutely necessary protection, in case of rain and mud, very fun even if slippery in various sections.

  • This downhill section is for experts: full suspension MTB, protection and courage. Very slippery stones in case of rain. Very beautifull !

  • it is the "sweetest" path in terms of slopes from the western part of the Pisan mountains. To clarify, the Pisan mountains are divided in two by the tunnel of San Giuliano Terme, known as the "Forum". The western part has the Moriglion di Penna as its highest peak, while to the east it has Mount Serra as its highest peak, which stands out from the Rai antennas that cover it.

  • The "Castelpasserino" path is certainly one of the most beautiful and interesting in the area; it is very long and has a bit of everything, rocks, roots, drops, jumps (better to avoid them by passing them as the path allows), steps, counter slopes, rock gardens, ruts, exposed parts and so on. Being long it is very demanding on a physical level; it can be covered with any type of mountain bike and alternates simple and flowing parts with very complicated parts in which high driving skills are required. A path that all mountain bikers can do but which in the most difficult sections will force many to get off the bike. A path that is not extreme but not too simple either. To be approached with caution also because you will meet many hikers who go up the path on foot in the opposite direction to us and, we must remember that those who move on foot have the right to precedence. Castelpasserino is difficult to reach by any rescuers due to its length and therefore environmental characteristics
enjoy the trail using your head and prudence, especially in wet and humid conditions.
