The "Rundschau" once stood here at the edge of the forest. It was built as a log house with side stairs that led to a viewing platform. Planned and drawn by Paul Schindel, it stood at a height of 540 m and you had a wonderful view of the Elstertal. On the horizon in the distance you can see the Hohen Brand and the Hohen Stein near Erlbach. Too bad that the "Rundschau" no longer exists. The beautiful view is still there.
