The ruin Horen, often referred to topographic maps with Burg Rosenberg, is the ruin of a hilltop castle above Küttigen in the Swiss canton of Aargau. It is located at an altitude of 450 meters on a foothill of the Kirchberg about 500 meters northwest of the church and belongs to the type of hill castles (moth). (Horen is a shortened version of the word Hochrain.
Neither the builders nor the exact year of construction of Horen Castle are known, but archaeological research has shown that the ruin was settled in the 12th century. At that time, the plant existed next to an oval Bering with gatehouse only from a residential tower. The area was secured by a neck trench to the southeast. Already around 1200, the castle was abandoned. The last owners were the canons of Münster.
The correct name of the castle is not known. Its current name comes from the medieval times and was taken over by the surrounding farms. In the course of the 19th century, the name Burg Rosenberg was added.

In 1960, the ruins were excavated and preserved. Previously, only the overgrown moat and a small piece of wall from the former existence of the castle had witnessed. A renovation of the surviving masonry followed in 1989.
