This is associated with difficult inclines and many meters in altitude. An alternative is the Saale cycle path to the left of the Saale, which also leads over a mountain range, but is much more pleasant to ride. This section ends or begins at the very beautiful little church in Breternitz, built in 1829, and offers a wonderful view in some places. The Saale cycle path continues through the entire village from the church in the direction of Weischwitz and also passes the inn. Here you can enjoy the Thuringian hospitality and spend the night.
